A Seat at the Table
A Seat at the Table
There is so much more that unites us than divides us. Sometimes, we just need to make room at the table.
At a time when hate crimes, Islamophobia, and division are deeply concerning, we believe that sharing stories, listening to one another, and finding common ground matter more than ever.
Join Barrington Area Democrats for a FREE screening of A Seat at the Table, a documentary featuring Illinois State Representative Nabeela Syed (District 51), followed by a short community discussion.
Whether you're familiar with Nabeela's story or hearing it for the first time, we invite you to join us for an evening of learning, conversation, and connection.
Friday, October 30th
Barrington Area Library
6:45–8:30 PM | Documentary Screening
