The Barrington Area Democratic Organization, under the leadership of Barrington Area Dems Board, is here to support our shared values of inclusivity, democracy, social justice, and economic stability by gathering together the many Democratic and independent voters in our area to work together to elect and support candidates who share our values.

The Barrington Area Dems focus on areas in the following Townships that overlap with the Barrington D220 and Barrington Area Library districts:

Palatine Township (Cook County)*
Algonquin Township (McHenry County)*
Dundee Township (Kane County)
Cuba Township (Lake County)*
Ela Township (Lake County)*
Wauconda Township (Lake County) 

*the five largest townships that make up the Barrington Area as of May 2025
